Jason Johnson is the Community Engagement Manager for the Spokane Public Library. He was named a 2018 Library Journal Mover and Shaker for his work in transforming the Downtown Spokane Library into a cultural hub and community destination. He created the late-night talk show, Lilac City Live, which was awarded the Urban Libraries Council Top Innovator, Customer Experience Award for 2018. Under his leadership the Downtown Spokane Library received the Spokane Arts award for Leadership. Jason was recently named 2018 City of Spokane Employee of the Year for Urban Experience
