Dr. Kathryn Miller develops and administers library resources and services in support of Florida Polytechnic University’s academic programs, faculty teaching and research, and student learning. Her duties include creating and implementing innovative information literacy and reference strategies for students.

Previously, Dr. Miller served as University Librarian and Assistant Vice President of Academic Services at Argosy University through January 2014. At Argosy, she was responsible for academic support services and the university library at 19 campus locations. She also has worked as a librarian at the Detroit Public Library and at the West Bloomfield Public Library, both in Michigan, as well as National-Louis University in Chicago.
Dr. Miller holds a bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Illinois at Urbana. She earned a master’s degree in Library Science from Kent State University in Ohio. She has a second master’s degree in Teaching, as well as her doctorate in Adult Education, from National-Louis University in Chicago.
