Mark Skinner

Mark
When I’m not assisting Alamosa High School students with library stuff I can be found relieving my stress on road or mountain bikes; getting my hands wonderfully dirty in our garden and Grow Dome; snow shoeing or cross-country skiing; collecting eggs from less than cooperative aging hens; irrigating and controlling weeds on 30 acres with our yellow lab Lola, and creating very local meals with Lou Ann, my wife of almost 31 years. Along the way I’ve picked up my MLS degree from Emporia State University, a BA in English Literature from Colorado College and a BA in elementary education from Adams State University. This is my 16th year in school libraries preceded by 7 years in the elementary classroom.
