Heather Ryan

Heather Ryan is an Assistant Professor in the University of Denver’s Library and Information Science program. She received her MLIS from the University of Denver and her PhD in Information and Library Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her areas of research are in digital preservation, digital file formats, and archives. She teaches courses on archives and digital preservation; as well as the Foundations course where she and Mary Stansbury piloted the new DU LIS mentoring program.
