    Nora Dethloff

Nora Dethloff, M.F.A, M.L.I.S, is the Assistant Head of Information & Access Services at the University of Houston’s M.D. Anderson Library, where she oversees Interlibrary Loan, Course Reserves, and Shelving Services.
Her research interests include user experience design, process improvement, and copyright in libraries. She has presented at state, regional, and national conferences, including Northwest ILL, the ILLiad Conference, and ALA Annual.
Her work has been published in the Journal of Access Services, New Library World, and the Journal of Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery & Electronic Reserve. She has been active and held leadership roles in ALA’s RUSA STARS, the Greater Western Library Alliance, and the Texas Library Association.
She is passionate about resource sharing, Fair Use, and making things work well. In her spare time she feeds and cares for two children, a dog, and an English professor.
